When float Canmore first opened up Mirko asked me if I could bring him along the next time. Fast forward a few months later and I was finally able to line up our schedules to float together. Well at the same time, not the same pod. I had originally wanted to make a day of it and have a picnic afterwards but could never make the timing work. Because we only had the morning together I wanted to make it as special as possible. He was treated to coffee in bed, a delicious breakfast cooked by yours truly before we took off for Canmore. It was all a surprise for him which I love doing to him because he gets annoyed when he doesn't know whats going on. True love.

It was great timing as I was super generous and shared the cold I was fighting last week with him, and we both were congested. Floating was a great experience for both of us, but we both wished we could have just gone home for a nap afterwards. After the float we got a coffee and a treat and I put him on the bus back to Banff so he could go to work J That was probably the least romantic part.

For some, you may think there was no romance involved in this, but for me I love to show him that I am listening and never forget these little requests he makes. I’d much rather share an experience together than buy something to clutter the house.
