#49 Skinny Dip
Being naked is easy for me. Posting pictures of my naked bum is not! I am a firm believer that swimming, especially in a lake or ocean is best while naked. In fact, most things are better while naked – except cooking. There’s just something about having nothing touching your skin while playing in the water. I’m a cancer true and true, and I am always drawn to the water.
While in Italy Mirko took me to a waterfall/grotto/magical place. We walked through a river, up the side of a mountain on a very rough path and ended up in paradise. Since it was off the beaten track we had it to ourselves and of course I stripped down and jumped in. The water was super cold and refreshing on the hot day. I would jump in, get out as quick as possible, warm up in the sun and do it again. We played and stayed there for most of the afternoon and it was one of the best days of our trip.
Mirko is not as into nudity as I am. In fact, one time we were in Italy and visited a spa. Mirko refused to strip down and we got kicked out of the adults only area and had to go to the public part with all the kids running around. At the time, I was not impressed. I enjoy naked spa experiences and used to visit the jjimjilbang in Korea about once every week or so. Even last year, when I went to the Spa in Banff for the first time it didn’t cross my mind that I would have to be dressed. I ended up having to buy a swim suit at the gift shop. I couldn’t jusfity spending $90 on a bikini so I bought Mirko some swim trunks and worse those and my sports bra. I hated the way the mesh ball catcher part of the trunks felt and wished I could just enjoy being my naked self while enjoying the spa.
All in all, this was a great day, with lots of great memories and very little tan lines ;)
